Vinod Sood is Co-Founder & Managing Director at Hughes Systique Corporation(HSC); a Digital Engineering services & solutions company. Prior to his current role, he was Head of Global Engineering and R&D at Hughes Software Systems (HSS) and served on its Board as well. Before HSS, Vinod worked with C-DOT where he was part of the core team which designed India’s 1st Digital Switch. Vinod is a veteran of hi-tech software industry, during his career span of 40+ years he has built high performance teams at premier R&D organizations in India. Vinod has an exceptional track record of building profitable and sustainable institutions from conceptualization to maturity.

He is member of CII’s National Startup and Space Council and Chairs the CII Regional Committee on Digital Transformation & AIand on the National Executive Board of AMCHAM. He was also member of the G20/B20 Taskforce on Technology, Innovation and R&D. He was member of NASSCOM Engineering R&D council, Chair of the Northern Regional Council and core member of the NASSCOM DeepTech club. He is on the Advisory Boards/Committeesof several universities and academic institutions. Vinod is involved in guiding and mentoring young entrepreneurs and startups and is on the Board of some of these companies. He is a TiE Charter member and is part of several CII, NASSCOM and TiE juries to identify emerging startups and innovative product companies.Vinod is a distinguished alumni awardee of PEC Chandigarh from where he graduated with a Gold Medal.
