Sachin Datt is a visual designer and graphic novelist, who completed his Master's degree in Visual Communication and Ph.D from the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay in the area of teaching science using narratives. He completed his post-doctoral studies from Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, where he taught creativity in the teaching of Design and Technology . Dr. Datt currently heads the department of Visual Communication at Sushant School of Design. He is a published author of graphic novels and has considerable research experience in the potential of storytelling in branding, advertising, education and social change.

However, it is seen that several children refuse to do important tasks that are useful for them in the immediate and long run. For example, several children refuse to brush their teeth, eat food or clean up their room or study table. There are several other tasks required by children to do as they grow up that are part of daily life like taking a bath, participating in sports.
Habit Builder is a concept of a type of a toy that uses techniques of gamification and Operant conditioning combined with artificial intelligence to help the parent develop desirable habits in children below 10 years of age without resorting to forceful aggression and punishment.
